NCS won Silver Medal at SKY DELIGHT AWARDS 2017 in Moscow

MOSCOW, 26th April 2017 – Today, Mr.Cuong Nguyen – NCS Executive chef has won Silver medal at SKY DELIGHT AWARDS 2017 International Culinary competition, Gostiny Dvor, Moscow, Russia.

SKY DELIGHT AWARDS 2017 for the first time was organized on April 26th in the frameworks of the International Forum SKYSERVICE 2017. The award was supported by The Russian National Culinary Association, Unitex Group, Yaroslavsky Broiler and Unilever Food Solutions.

Attending this competition were 12 chefs as representatives of prestigious international caterers: Aeromar DV, LSG Sky Chefs, Tokio Food Catering, Thai Airways International PLC and Noibai Catering Services, etc. These unique native culinary meals were presented and evaluated via strict and complex standards: The taste, food hygiene, visual appearance, professional skills and the meal compatibility. And ones taking the dishes into nominating consideration were prestigious juries led by Mr. Victor Belyaev – President of the Russian Culinary Association.

Such competitors, evaluation criteria and juries were not only one of the most arduous challenge but also a very great significant opportunity in every chef’s career. And chef Cuong did present set of beautiful Vietnamese chef d'oeuvre:

Appetizer: Grilled lemongrass-skewed prawns, vermicelli salad, a bouquet of fresh herbs served with mango salsa.

Main course: Broiled stuffed chicken “Royal cuisine” with sweet & sour sauce, chicken rice in net spring roll wrapper & vegetable.

With over 17-year experience in luxurious hotel restaurant and Inflight catering profession and the passion of a Vietnamese cook, Chef Cuong did successfully deliver the vitality of Vietnamese cuisine to the international arena and was solemnly recognized and nominated for the Silver medal. This award is a reaffirmation for the NCS’s inflight meal quality and the willingness to bring the international quality, local taste to the sky.

Furthermore, lately, NCS had the opportunity to greet French magazine “MasterChef” crew to come and have an interview with chef Cuong about his career inspiration, Vietnamese cuisine distinctness and some In-flight delicacies review. After recording the interview, experiencing some NCS’s Vietnamese Signature dishes plus sightseeing our In-flight kitchen, NCS’s products and service were evaluated well as “Nice Catering Services” (Our company was re-named by Mr.Pascal Briard – MasterChef Magazine).
